CPWCS Winter Dance, Friday Jan. 8th

posted Jan 6, 2010 1:56 PM by Wesley Calidonna

CPWCS is Warming Up
Sad snowflakes, happy dancers.  CPWCS is hosting its first major dance in Chumash Auditorium Friday, January 8th.  We're teaching two lessons and hosting late night dancing.  We'll have music from DJ M-Con and BIG WES.

Also, come find out more about our upcoming weekly dances and lessons!

Newcomer Lesson
We love to see new faces! This lesson will be for those who are just starting out with West Coast Swing and will not assume that you have any prior experience. It will focus on rhythm, basic footwork patterns, and techniques for leading and following some of the basic element patterns for the dance.  This is a great dance to bring friends that have never tried WCS.

Novice Lesson
This lesson is designed for those who already have a good understanding of the basic elements of the dance and are getting comfortable with leading and following. It will focus on the techniques for leading and following more complex patterns and may bring in some individual styling.

Tri-Masquerade Tickets
We now have Tri-Masquerade tickets in hand available for purchase!  They will be available at all of our events until January 30th.  Tickets are $10 ($7 for CPWCS members).
